Dear Father Gregory;  it's been many years since you confirmed me back in 1972. I have very fond memories of going to mass as a child. Although I have moved away from the area, I do try and visit or drive by whenever I am down in the Little Italy area.

I hope many blessings are upon you and your congregation this weekend due to the holy feast celebrations!

May God be with us all

Name:   Fr. Joseph Muchena
From:   Conche, Newfoundland, Canada
Message:   Greetings and best wishes to the staff and all Christian Community of St. Francis of Assis Church. I am so greatful to Fr. Gregory who has introduced me to the website.I am a Priest of Diocese of Meru -Kenya. Kenya is located in the East of AFRICA. Currently I am at the Diocese of St. George's in Newfoundland- Sacred Heart Parish as a visitor. I am hoping to visit you on September 3, 2006 for MISSION APPEAL on behalf of Rt. Rev. Salesius Mugambi-Bishop of Meru. Mission Appeal is nothing else rather than begging for finance assistance. Begging is one of the difficult exercise but it is a reality in human life when there is no choice. It is a moment of cry for help at a time of pain and serious needs. We are living in a busy world, crowded with a lot of needs and demands of which we have to share among the faithfulespecially to those abit priviledged. The circumstances in which the Church finds itself while imparting the knowledge of faith in Jesus Christ, speaks a big volume in Africa. Shortly may I express my gratitude in advance for the welcome accorded to me my Fr.Gregory. Its my pleasure to meet your kindness and generousity when I arrive at your Parish. God Bless you.
