Next dinner for the Needy
Saturday,
February 18th
|
|
By now, everyone knows
about the important work that goes on at our Church
in feeding the less fortunate. On Saturday, February
18th, we will be sponsoring a dinner for the less
fortunate. If you’d like to help us, we could use
the following: baked goods, like cookies, etc., TTC
token will be given to those who come from far away
to attend the dinner, or those who volunteering to
serve and help with the clean up. If you are able to
join us and spare some of your time, please contact the office and leave a
message for Josephine Selbie

Upcoming Events in February |
|
Tuesday February
2nd is the feast of the
Presentation of Our Lord and Candlemas day. We bless
the candles that should be lit in your home when the
Priest visits the sick. After the 8:00 AM Mass you
may purchase a boxed set of high quality Prayer
Candles for only $ 4.00, and we recommend that
everyone have them reserved and on hand.
Wednesday
February
3rd, at
the morning Mass at 8:00 AM, we will honour St.
Blaise by blessing throats. If you are still
smoking (and you really shouldn’t) or having
breathing troubles of any kind, you’ l l want to
pray to St . Blaise
